Each family has been assigned a user name and password in order for you to access the Dashboard feature in the SchoolCast Rapid Notification System used by The Vestavia Hills City School District. Log-in information was sent home to families earlier this school year.
The SchoolCast Rapid Notification Dashboard is a private and secure web-page where you can add, update, and change your contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, etc.) at any time. You may also review all text messages and emails sent from VHCS using SchoolCast.

The most important number you can provide VHCS is your cell phone number listed as your first (priority) number. Cell phone numbers are typically the best and fastest way to reach parents in the event of school closings or any other urgent matter requiring your immediate attention. If you would like an additional person on the account to receive priority messages, please select “Always Contact” for that person as well. Additionally, it is important to check that voice and text are confirmed as “YES” for the cell phones you have listed on your account.
We also ask that you provide at least one email address. There may be occasions that an email only is sent through SchoolCast for non-emergency situations and without an email address, you will not receive that announcement.
